About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Abreu Data Systems, Portugal ("we"), for the use of Plumeboard Cloud. By creating an account you accept them. How we handle personal data is explained in the privacy notice.
Your account
- You must be at least 16, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
- Use a valid email address and keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.
Acceptable use
Please don't use Plumeboard Cloud to:
- store or share illegal content, or content that infringes other people's rights;
- send spam, malware or anything harmful;
- try to break into, test the security of, overload or disrupt the service, or access other people's data;
- copy, scrape, resell or give access to the service as if it were your own.
Your content
Everything you put into Plumeboard — boards, cards, comments, attachments — belongs to you. You give us only the permission we need to store, process, back up and show it to you in order to provide the service. Our staff do not view your content; it is only processed automatically, backed up, and accessed when we are legally required to. You are responsible for having the right to the content you upload.
Beta and availability
During the beta, Plumeboard Cloud is provided "as is" and "as available". Features may change and there may be interruptions. We work hard to keep your data safe, but we recommend exporting a copy from time to time.
Plans and prices
- Plumeboard Cloud has a free plan with up to 5 boards and 100 MB of attachments. Plumeboard Desktop is free, with unlimited boards. Free plan limits may change; we will tell you in advance.
- Plumeboard Pro is an optional paid plan (see below and the pricing page). Nothing is ever charged without your explicit agreement.
Paid plans (Plumeboard Pro)
Plumeboard Pro is an optional paid subscription that adds features to Plumeboard Cloud and Plumeboard Desktop. The features and prices are described on the pricing page.
- Who sells it. Plumeboard Pro is sold by Abreu Data Systems. Online payments are collected by EMMA, our payments partner, with Stripe's technology: you enter your payment details on Stripe's secure checkout page, and we never see or store your card details. The charge appears on your card statement under the name EMMA PAY. You receive a receipt by email after each payment; for an invoice with a VAT number, contact us through abreudatasystems.com. You can also contact us to pay by bank transfer and get a licence manually.
- Prices. Prices on the pricing page include VAT for consumers in the European Union and are shown in euros (EUR), US dollars (USD), pounds sterling (GBP) or Brazilian reais (BRL), depending on your country (in euros in other countries). The final amount and currency are confirmed on the payment page before you pay, and the price shown there is the one you pay.
- Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year, depending on the plan you chose, and is charged to your payment method until you cancel.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time with the “Manage subscription” button on the plan page of your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period: Pro stays active until then and there are no further charges.
- Price changes. We will tell you about any price change by email at least 30 days in advance. The new price applies from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then if you don't agree.
- Right of withdrawal and refunds. If you are a consumer in the EU, you have 14 days to withdraw from the purchase. Pro starts as soon as you subscribe, so by starting to use it straight away you acknowledge that the digital service begins at once. Even so, we give a full refund if you ask within 14 days of your first payment. Refunds are made by us through EMMA.
- When Pro ends. If your subscription ends, Pro features pause: connectors stop, the API and MCP connector stop answering, and Cloud boards beyond the 5 of the free plan stay editable, but you can't create new boards beyond the free limit. Your data is never deleted because Pro ends, and you can subscribe again at any time.
- Desktop licence keys. One subscription covers both Plumeboard Cloud (your account) and Plumeboard Desktop. For Desktop you receive a licence key by email. Licence keys are personal and non-transferable: don't share, publish or resell them.
Suspension and closing your account
- You can delete your account at any time in the settings. Export your data first if you want to keep it.
- We may suspend or close an account in case of serious or repeated breach of these terms, abuse, or when the law requires it. Where possible we will warn you first and give you the chance to export your data.
- If we ever decide to stop offering Plumeboard Cloud, we will give you at least 30 days' notice so you can export your data.
Our software
Plumeboard — the software, its source code, the name and the logo — belongs to Abreu Data Systems. You may not copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer, redistribute or resell it, except where the law expressly allows it.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 euros if you use the free plan. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example for intent or gross negligence), or your rights as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For important changes we will let you know by email or in the app at least 30 days before they apply. If you don't agree, you can export your data and delete your account before then.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, and the courts of Portugal have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
Plumeboard Desktop licence
Plumeboard Desktop is free to use, for personal and business use, under the End-User Licence Agreement included with the program. In short: you may install and use it on your computers; you may not copy, modify, decompile, redistribute or resell the software or its source code; it is provided "as is", without warranty, with liability limited to the extent permitted by law; Portuguese law applies. Pro features in Desktop require an active Plumeboard Pro subscription and its licence key (see "Paid plans").
